Project Manager – Domestic Heating & Renewables
Location: Aldershot, Hampshire
Salary: £35,000–£45,000 per year (depending on experience)

Due to continued growth, we're looking for an organised, customer-focused Project Manager to oversee our domestic installation projects, including gas boilers, air source heat pumps, hot water cylinders and associated heating system upgrades.
This is an office-based role with regular site visits, giving you ownership of projects from the point of sale through to completion.
The Role
You will be responsible for ensuring every installation runs smoothly by coordinating customers, engineers, suppliers and office staff.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing domestic boiler and heat pump installation projects from start to finish.
- Acting as the main point of contact for customers throughout their installation journey.
- Booking surveys, installation dates and commissioning appointments.
- Liaising with customers before, during and after installations.
- Scheduling engineers and subcontractors to maximise efficiency.
- Ordering materials and managing deliveries to site.
- Working closely with merchants and manufacturers to ensure materials arrive on time.
- Producing engineer job packs and ensuring all required documentation is available.
- Monitoring project progress and resolving issues before they become problems.
- Carrying out quality control checks and occasional site visits.
- Managing installation costs and helping projects remain profitable.
- Ensuring all compliance paperwork is completed correctly, including Building Regulations, Gas Safe and MCS documentation where applicable.
- Coordinating warranty registrations and customer handovers.
- Working with our sales and renewables teams to ensure a seamless customer experience.
- Supporting engineers with technical and logistical requirements.
- Managing customer expectations and maintaining our excellent reputation.
About You
We're looking for someone who enjoys organising people, solving problems and delivering outstanding customer service.
Ideally you'll have experience in one or more of the following:
- Domestic boiler installations
- Air source heat pumps
- Heating systems
- Plumbing and heating
- Construction project management
- Service or installation scheduling
You'll also have:
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong organisational ability
- Great attention to detail
- Confidence speaking with customers
- Good IT skills
- Ability to prioritise multiple projects simultaneously
- A proactive approach and calm manner under pressure
- A full UK driving licence
Experience using field service or scheduling software would be advantageous but isn't essential.
