Want a job where you’re genuinely needed, properly supported, and you get to go home knowing you made a difference?
Welcome to Dovecote School. We’re a specialist SEND setting (Autism/SEMH and beyond), with small classes, big teamwork, and the kind of relationships that make the hard days manageable and the good days brilliant.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting students in class, 1:1 and small groups, helping them access learning and feel safe enough to try
- Being the calm in the storm, the friendly face, the “we’ve got this” person
- Working closely with teachers and a genuinely supportive team
- Providing flexible cover across the school when needed
You’ll fit right in if you’re:
- Calm, kind, and unflappable(ish)
- Flexible and practical when the day does a surprise plot twist
- Great at teamwork and happy to muck in
- Committed to safeguarding and doing right by young people
If you want a role where you’ll be valued, kept busy (in a good way), and work with people who genuinely have your back, we’d love to hear from you.
