About the Role
Green Bay Services is looking for two reliable and hardworking Cleaners to join our team as we take over the cleaning contract at Bedwas Infants School.
This is a fantastic opportunity for individuals who take pride in their work and enjoy maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming environment for children and school staff.
The role is 1.5 hours per day, Monday to Friday, from 3:30pm to 5:00pm.
Working Hours
- Monday to Friday
- 3:30pm – 5:00pm
- 1.5 hours per day
- 7.5 hours per week
- School term-time working
Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain classrooms to a high standard.
- Vacuum and mop floors.
- Dust and wipe surfaces, desks and furniture.
- Clean and disinfect toilets and washroom areas.
- Empty bins and replace bin bags.
- Clean corridors and communal areas.
- Clean glass and mirrors where required.
- Clean doors, handles and frequently touched surfaces.
- Ensure classrooms are left clean, tidy and ready for the following school day.
- Follow Green Bay Services' cleaning procedures and health and safety requirements.
- Use cleaning chemicals and equipment safely and correctly.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage or concerns to the supervisor.
Requirements
- Reliable and punctual.
- Good attention to detail.
- Takes pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- Previous school or commercial cleaning experience is an advantage but not essential, as full training will be provided.
- Must be able to work Monday to Friday from 3:30pm to 5:00pm.
