Job Description
We are looking for 2 experienced Painters for an immediate start on an ongoing commercial contract at a college. This is a brilliant long-term opportunity offering steady hours, with the added benefit of extra hours and overtime if you want to boost your earnings.The role involves high-quality internal and external painting, glossing, and surface preparation across the educational campus. Because you will be working within a college environment, a professional manner and high standard of work are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing surfaces thoroughly (sanding, filling, scraping, and masking).
- Applying undercoats, gloss, and emulsion to walls, ceilings, and woodwork.
- Executing high-quality finishes to classrooms, corridors, and communal areas.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workspace, protecting flooring and fixtures.
- Working safely around staff, students, and other site trades.
Requirements
- Valid CSCS Card: Essential for site access.
- Basic Tools: Must have your own full whites, brushes, rollers, filling knives, and standard hand tools.
- Full PPE: Standard safety gear required (Steel toe cap boots, high-vis vest, and hard hat).
- Experience: Proven commercial painting experience (school or college experience is a plus).
- Rights: Must have the right to work in the UK.
