What you'll be doing:

You'll step into a dynamic role within our Communications and Content team, supporting our work across political, parliamentary and regulatory affairs.

You'll help track and analyse political and regulatory developments, working closely with colleagues across the business to understand what they mean for our customers, partners and products.

You'll support the development of briefings, consultation responses and stakeholder materials, helping to build relationships with policymakers, regulators and industry bodies.

Using research and insight, you'll help identify emerging risks and opportunities, contributing to a public affairs strategy that protects and strengthens our reputation.

Work closely with agency partners to maximise cross-collaboration opportunities and efforts across public affairs and public relations.

What we're looking for:

A graduate with a degree in a relevant discipline such as Law, Politics, Economics, Business, or a related subject (with, or on track to achieve, a 2:1 or above).

A genuine interest in politics, policy and regulation, and how they affect business and consumers.

Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to distil complex issues into clear, compelling messages.

Proactive, able to prioritise and manage multiple pieces of work at pace.

Comfortable operating within a regulated environment, with an understanding of the importance of accuracy and integrity in public-facing work.

Able to develop trust and credibility through stakeholder relationships, both internally and externally.

A growth mindset, always looking for new ways to add value or improve how we engage with government, regulators and industry.

Able to work with anyone and understand that everyone has a different perspective and know that's what makes it exciting.

Evidence of an interest in public affairs, politics, or regulatory issues through academic projects, internships, work experience, extracurricular activities, personal projects, or other relevant experience.
