Isabel’s Bar, Restaurant & Garden is one of Burton’s busiest independent hospitality venues, serving breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend hospitality across a high-volume fresh food operation.
We’re looking for hardworking Kitchen Porters who take pride in keeping a professional kitchen running efficiently. This is a fast-paced role where you’ll become an essential part of a supportive kitchen team.

The Role (2+ YEARS PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE MANDATORY)
As Kitchen Porter you’ll help maintain exceptional cleanliness and organisation throughout the kitchen, ensuring our chefs have everything they need to deliver outstanding food service.
You’ll play a vital role in keeping service moving during busy periods while maintaining the highest food hygiene standards.
Responsibilities
- Washing pots, pans, crockery and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining exceptional cleanliness throughout the kitchen
- Assisting with deliveries and stock organisation
- Supporting chefs with basic food preparation when required
- Operating dishwashing equipment safely and efficiently
- Removing waste and maintaining refuse areas
- Keeping storage areas organised
- Following all food safety and health & safety procedures
- Working efficiently during busy service periods

- Previous kitchen experience is advantageous but not essential
