Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Landscaper Supervisor to lead and oversee a variety of outdoor maintenance projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of landscape maintenance, horticulture, and construction practices. This role involves supervising a team to ensure high standards of quality and safety across all landscaping activities. The successful applicant will have hands-on experience with power tools, irrigation systems, and mechanical equipment such as excavators, alongside strong organisational skills. This position offers an excellent opportunity for those passionate about outdoor environments and skilled in both supervisory and technical aspects of landscape management.
Duties
- Carry out daily landscape maintenance operations, including gardening, pruning, planting, and turf care
- Oversee the utilisation of hand tools, power tools, and mechanical equipment such as lawnmowers, strimmer's, brush cutters and excavators
- Ensure all work complies with health and safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Proven experience in landscape maintenance, horticulture or construction environments
- Mechanical knowledge related to landscape machinery
- Strong understanding of gardening principles and horticultural practices
- Ability to operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery safely and efficiently
- Good communication skills to liaise with clients, team members, and suppliers
- Relevant certifications or qualifications in horticulture or construction are desirable but not essential
