Summary
McMillan Nursery School is a maintained nursery school looking to appoint a committed and enthusiastic Early Years Teaching Assistant at this popular and growing school. The role will be in the 2-year-old department in the first instance. It is a variable hours contract, but we anticipate you working 34 hours per week, term time only. The post is to start in September 2026.
We are looking for someone who cares passionately about improving outcomes for children. We aim to offer the highest standards of education and care to our children and their families, with provision for 2-year-olds through to school entry at a range of local primary schools.

This position is part time, term time only, please note the salary quoted is full time equivalent. If successful, the salary received will be paid on a pro rata basis.

Essential Qualifications
NVQ level 2 or above Early Years qualification appropriate to the post (or equivalent)
Desirable Qualifications
Paediatric First Aid
GCSE Maths and English Grade 4 or above/or equivalent
