Regional Compliance & People Coordinator
Due to continued growth we are looking for an experienced Compliance & People Coordinator for the Damac Data Centre project in Finland. This is a varied and hands-on role providing operational, HR and compliance support to the project and central services team. A key role in ensuring that employees, subcontractors and visitors are efficiently mobilised, compliant with local requirements and fully supported throughout the project lifecycle.
We are looking for someone who is organised, proactive and can be local or open to travel and work abroad and has an excellent understanding of local working practices and HR processes.
Some of your daily activities
- Coordinate the mobilisation of employees and subcontractors travelling to Finland, ensuring a smooth and efficient onboarding process.
- Support the GM Manager with visa, work permit, residency and right-to-work processes where applicable.
- Coordinate accommodation, transport and local orientation.
- Ensure compliance with Finnish site access requirements, employment legislation and statutory obligations.
- Support the P&C Business Partner with on-site HR administration for new starters.
- Assist employees with relocation and settling into the local area.
- Arrange and monitor project inductions and onboarding activities.
Skills or experience you will need to succeed in this role
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook PowerPoint and Teams).
- Ideally fluent in Finnish and English (written and spoken).
- HR experience
- Professional and approachable.
- Highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Able to manage multiple priorities within a fast paced environment.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
