We are seeking a motivated and skilled Fixers Mate / Fixer to join our team and contribute to the successful installation of Rain Screen Cladding systems. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on dynamic construction projects, supporting lead fixers in delivering high-quality facade solutions. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and eager to develop their skills within a vibrant construction environment. You will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient and safe assembly of cladding systems that enhance building aesthetics and performance.
Responsibilities
- Assist with the installation of Rain Screen Cladding according to project schematics and technical drawings
- Use hand tools, power tools, and fabrication equipment to cut, shape, and assemble cladding components
- Handle heavy lifting and material movement safely to ensure smooth workflow on site
- Follow safety protocols diligently during all phases of installation and fabrication activities
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency
Qualifications
- Must be familiar with rain screen cladding, i.e. must understand what a helping hand bracket is, L&T rails, rain screen cladding insulation and vertical and horizontal fire breaks.
- Must have some of your own battery and hand tools. The more tools the better.
- CSCS blue card with rain screen cladding will be a huge benefit.
Working Hours
Work starts at 7.30 - 3.30, with a one hour break between 11 - 12.
Take home weekly pay between £616 and £654. For the right applicant there is lots of room to grow within the company.
Current project to run from 12-18 months, with lots more projects planned for the future.
Pay: £160.00-£170.00 per day
