What You'll Be Doing:
As our Security Team Manager, you'll be leading a dedicated team of Security Officers, ensuring the safety and security of our customers and assets at M&S Meadowhall. You'll set the standard for the team by being a positive, proactive leader who delivers excellent service and ensures top-notch security practices.
- Lead & Inspire: Oversee daily security operations, motivating your team to provide the best service.
- Support & Develop: Train and mentor new Security Officers to ensure they're equipped with everything they need to succeed.
- Investigate & Resolve: Work on investigations into security incidents, like thefts or missing items.
- Build Relationships: Communicate with customers and clients, always ensuring they feel safe and valued.
- Ensure Safety: Make sure all safety regulations and data protection laws are followed to keep everyone secure.
- Keep Everything Running Smoothly: Maintain accurate logs and handovers, making sure shifts transition without a hitch.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: You've got experience in security and have proven your leadership skills.
- SIA License: You'll need a valid SIA license to apply.
- Great Communication Skills: You can speak and write clearly to communicate with your team and customers.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using computers and security software.
- Self-Motivated: You take initiative and work independently, but also lead and inspire your team.
- Problem-Solver: You handle challenging situations with confidence and professionalism.
- Team Player: You know how to create a positive, supportive atmosphere and keep everyone motivated.
