About the Role
Job Description
Ready to help shape the fire safety foundations of the first nuclear power station built in a generation? Do you thrive on influencing operational readiness, working with stakeholders, and creating safer environments in complex, highly regulated industries?
At EDF, Success is Personal. As a Fire Safety Subject Matter Expert, you'll help create the standards, systems, and culture that support safe operations at Hinkley Point C while developing a career that's unique to you.
The Opportunity
As a Fire Safety Subject Matter Expert (SME), you'll play a vital role in preparing Hinkley Point C for safe and successful operations. This is an opportunity to influence how fire safety is embedded across a new nuclear power station. From supporting WANO readiness activities and fire prevention programmes to developing operational documentation, fire protection arrangements, and emergency response planning, your expertise will help shape the future operation of the station.
