The Valley Group is a leading Building Services contractor delivering high-quality Electrical, Mechanical, and Multi-trade works across Scotland. Due to the rapid expansion of our Building Fabric Division, we are looking for an experienced Joiner to join our reactive maintenance team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a tradesperson who enjoys variety, working on both domestic and commercial projects for local authorities and private clients.
The Role
As a Joiner within our reactive team, you will be responsible for high-quality repairs and upgrades. We pride ourselves on a "first-time fix" culture and professional finishes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Full Joinery Scope: Carrying out 1st, 2nd, and 3rd fix tasks.
- Reactive Maintenance: Responding to repair requests in domestic and commercial properties.
- Project Delivery: Working on property upgrades for local authorities, ensuring projects meet strict timelines.
- Collaboration: Working alongside Plumbers, Electricians, and Supervisors to deliver a seamless service.
- Compliance: Following all Health & Safety protocols and maintaining a tidy work environment.
What We Are Looking For
- Experienced Joiner: Proven experience as a Joiner, ideally within reactive maintenance or domestic environments.
- Qualifications: Time-served (NVQ Level 3 or City & Guilds) is preferred.
- Certifications: A valid CSCS Card is highly advantageous.
- Driving Licence: A full UK Driving Licence is essential (Company vehicle provided).
- Work Ethic: Someone who takes pride in their workmanship and can work independently without constant supervision.
