Join YD Café as a skilled and passionate Barista! We’re looking for an experienced barista who shares our commitment to building community and enriching lives.
YD Café is more than just a coffee shop — it’s a welcoming space where people can connect, relax, and feel at home. In this role, you’ll prepare excellent coffee, provide outstanding customer service, and help create a warm, inclusive atmosphere that brings our community together.
Key Duties
- Prepare and serve high-quality coffee, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and care
- Create memorable customer experiences through attentive, friendly, and professional service
- Maintain consistently high standards of coffee quality, preparation, and presentation
- Keep the café clean, organised, welcoming, and well presented at all times
- Follow all food safety, hygiene, and health and safety procedures
- Handle cash register and payment transactions accurately and professionally
- Support colleagues during busy periods and contribute to a positive, collaborative team environment
- Represent YD Café and Your Dar’s values of community, care, and excellence in all interactions
What We’re Looking For
- Proven barista experience, with confident skills in espresso-based drinks and beverage preparation
- A genuine passion for high-quality coffee and excellent customer service
- A reliable, positive, and proactive approach to work
- The ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene
