As a Sales Manager, you will play a key role in driving the company’s growth in the UK by expanding its merchant base and strengthening its presence across e-commerce, digital goods, and retail verticals. You will own the full sales cycle — from identifying and engaging high-value prospects to leading complex negotiations and closing strategic partnerships.
Build and nurture a strong pipeline of high-value merchants across e-commerce, digital goods, and retail verticals
Develop and maintain direct relationships with decision-makers (Founders, Heads of Payments, Finance, Operations) through outbound, events, and warm introductions
Conduct product presentations and technical overviews covering acquiring, payment methods, and settlement flows
Own the commercial negotiation process, structuring tailored pricing, onboarding, and contract terms
Work closely with Risk, Compliance, Product, and Operations to ensure deals can be onboarded and scaled successfully
Maintain a clean and accurate CRM, managing pipeline stages, forecasts, and conversion metrics
Track market trends, competitors, and regulatory changes impacting online payments and merchant acquiring
3–5+ years of B2B sales experience in payments, acquiring, fintech, or merchant services
Strong understanding of card acquiring, online payments, settlement, chargebacks, and merchant onboarding
Experience selling into e-commerce, digital platforms, or international online businesses
Proven ability to manage long sales cycles involving compliance, legal, finance, and technical teams
An active network of merchants or payment decision-makers is a strong advantage
Proven deal-closing and negotiation skills in mid-market and enterprise B2B environments
Strong commercial mindset with an analytical, structured, and entrepreneurial approach to sales
Excellent communication and presentation skills, able to clearly explain complex payment and technical solutions to senior decision-makers
Business-fluent English; additional languages are a strong advantage
