The Role
We are looking for professional and reliable Matchday Safety Stewards to join our growing team. You will play a key role in ensuring the safety, security, and enjoyment of spectators at football matches and other major events.
Please only apply if you hold a valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence. Unfortunately, applications without a valid licence cannot be considered.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the safe entry and exit of spectators.
- Conduct ticket and access control checks.
- Monitor crowd behaviour and maintain a safe environment.
- Provide excellent customer service and assist visitors where required.
- Respond professionally to incidents and follow emergency procedures.
- Report incidents accurately and complete any required documentation.
- Work closely with supervisors, fellow stewards, and emergency services when required.
- Represent SK Security Services Ltd professionally at all times.
Essential Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence (Essential).
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Confident spoken and written English.
- Professional appearance and positive attitude.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work as part of a team.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and make sound decisions.
- Able to provide a full 5-year employment history, with any gaps supported by appropriate evidence (e.g. DWP/Universal Credit history).
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and matchdays.
Desirable
- Previous experience in security, stewarding, customer service, or events.
- Level 2 Spectator Safety qualification (training can be provided).
- Full UK Driving Licence.
