Job title - M&E Site Manager
Salary – £55,000 to £65,000 per annum (Negotiable on experience)
Hours of work – Full time hours (Mon to Fri when at home and Mon to Thurs when working away)
Location – East Midlands based with travel
About This Opportunity
Our client are a rapidly growing M&E contractor who work on a rage of commerical and warehousing projects . Due to growth they are looking to recruit Site Managers with experience across Mechanical and Electrical projects, You'll be the driving force on site, coordinating trades, managing programme and quality, and seeing projects through from installation to final handover.
Key Responsibilities
- Managing all day-to-day Mechanical electrical installation activities on site
- Coordinating subcontractors and direct labour
- Ensuring works are delivered in accordance with programme requirements
- Monitoring quality of installation and ensuring compliance with project specifications
- Carrying out regular site inspections and quality checks
- Ensuring all works are undertaken in line with current Health & Safety legislation and company procedures
- Coordinating with the main contractor, consultants, client representatives and other trades
- Attending site progress meetings and providing updates on programme and resource requirements
- Maintaining accurate site records, reports and progress updates
About You
- Previous experience as M&E Site manager
- Experience working on commercial projects
- Current SMSTS qualification
- First Aid at Work certificate
- Sound knowledge of current regulations and Health & Safety legislation
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Strong organisational and planning abilities
- Full UK driving licence
