Salary: £25,394.88 per annum
Contract: Permanent
Hours: 35 hours per week (rota including mornings, evenings, weekends and waking nights)
Our Clients are a cross-border charity dedicated to supporting some of the most marginalised individuals, couples and families experiencing homelessness. Our mission is to end homelessness and transform lives through compassionate, person-centred support.

What You'll Be Doing
As a Support Worker, you'll play a vital role in supporting individuals to improve their housing, health and wellbeing while promoting independence and positive outcomes.
Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will:
- Provide a warm, welcoming first point of contact for service users and visitors.
- Support individuals through engagement, practical assistance and personalised support plans.
- Build trusting relationships with service users using a housing-led, trauma-informed and harm reduction approach.
- Assist service users to access appropriate services, activities and community resources.
- Support the day-to-day running of the service, including reception and building management duties.
- Maintain accurate records and contribute to effective communication within the team.
- Complete health and safety checks and help maintain a safe environment for everyone.
- Work collaboratively with colleagues to deliver high-quality, person-centred support.
What We're Looking For
We're looking for someone who is compassionate, organised and committed to making a positive difference.
Essential Criteria:
- 3 GCSEs (Grade A-C), including English and Maths (or equivalent).
- At least 1 year's paid experience in a relevant support role or 2 years' relevant volunteering experience.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Good IT skills and experience maintaining accurate records.
- Understanding of homelessness and the challenges that can lead to it.
- Knowledge of risk assessment and safeguarding practices.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Experience supporting children and families or vulnerable adults is desirable.

- This role operates on a 7-day rota, including mornings, evenings, weekends and waking nights.
- Appointment is subject to an Enhanced Access NI check.
- NISCC registration is required. If you are not currently registered, registration must be completed during your probationary period.
