Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production and presentation
- Oversee all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and plating to meet established standards
- Manage kitchen operations efficiently, including inventory control, ordering supplies, and maintaining cleanliness
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and uphold the highest standards of hygiene and sanitation
- Train and mentor team members in culinary techniques, food safety practices, and customer service skills
- Collaborate with management to develop innovative menus that reflect current trends and guest preferences
- Maintain a positive work environment by fostering teamwork, leadership, and motivation among staff
Requirements
- Proven supervising experience in a professional kitchen or restaurant setting
- Strong background in food production, preparation, and cooking techniques
- Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage a diverse team effectively
- Extensive kitchen experience with a focus on culinary excellence and hospitality service
- Knowledge of food safety standards and regulations applicable to restaurant operations
