Property Photographer & Videographer
Field-based role covering North West England and Cumbria
About the Role
Lens Media, a leading property marketing company established in 2011, is looking for a talented and experienced Property Photographer & Videographer to join our growing team.
This is an on-the-road position involving property shoots throughout North West England and Cumbria, with editing completed from home or at our main office. We’re particularly interested in hearing from photographers and videographers currently working in-house for an estate agency or property-related business.
You’ll be responsible for producing high-quality photography and video content that showcases properties at their very best. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who combines strong technical ability with creativity, organisation and a genuine passion for property marketing.
Key ResponsibilitiesPhotography and Videography
- Photograph residential and commercial properties, capturing high-quality interior, exterior and detail shots.
- Produce professional property tours, promotional videos and engaging social media reels.
- Ensure all work meets Lens Media’s quality standards and the expectations of our clients.
- Represent Lens Media professionally while working with homeowners, estate agents and other property professionals.
Editing and Content Delivery
- Edit selected photography and video content using Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Premiere Pro or equivalent software.
- Produce polished, visually engaging content for property portals, websites, social media and other marketing platforms.
- Manage files carefully and ensure completed assets are delivered accurately and on time.
Client and Team Collaboration
- Work closely with estate agents, clients and the Lens Media team to understand each brief.
- Offer creative ideas that help properties stand out and strengthen our clients’ marketing.
- Build positive, professional relationships and deliver excellent customer service at every appointment.
Scheduling and Organisation
- Manage a busy diary of property appointments across North West England and Cumbria.
- Plan travel efficiently and complete multiple shoots while maintaining consistent quality.
- Meet agreed turnaround times and keep project information and media files well organised.
Equipment
- Use and maintain professional photography, videography, lighting and audio equipment.
- Ensure all equipment is kept secure, organised and in excellent working condition.
What We’re Looking ForExperience
- At least two years’ professional experience in photography and videography, ideally within an estate agency or property marketing environment.
- A strong portfolio demonstrating property photography and video work.
- Experience working directly with clients and managing multiple appointments or projects.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of professional camera equipment, composition and lighting techniques.
- Proficiency in Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop and Premiere Pro, or equivalent editing software.
- A good understanding of audio recording and video production.
- Experience with drones, Matterport or property floor plans would be beneficial, although additional training can be provided.
- An awareness of current social media trends and short-form property content.
Personal Qualities
- Creative, reliable and highly organised.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- A sharp eye for detail and a commitment to consistently high standards.
- Comfortable working independently and travelling throughout the region.
- Able to manage a varied workload and meet tight deadlines.
- A full UK driving licence is essential.
What We Offer
- Salary of £27,500–£32,500 per year, depending on experience.

- Monday–Friday schedule, normally 9:00 AM–5:30 PM.
