We have a great opportunity for a skilled Barista/ Shift supervisor at our Lodge Moor cafe.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of high-quality coffee beverages, following our established recipes and standards.
- Dialing in: adjust and calibrate coffee grinders to ensure optimal extraction.
- Provide excellent customer service, ensuring a friendly and welcoming atmosphere for all guests.
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently, using our POS system.
- Maintain a clean and organised work area, including coffee machines, equipment, and dining areas.
- Opening and closing duties
- Stock management and ordering
Requirements:
- Previous experience as a barista.
- Knowledge of coffee brewing techniques and latte art.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
- A positive and can-do attitude, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
