Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Site Welfare & Accommodation Fitter & Installation Engineer to join our dynamic construction team. This vital role involves managing site welfare facilities, ensuring proper installation and maintenance of accommodation units, and supporting various construction activities on-site. The ideal candidate will be energetic, detail-oriented, and possess a broad skill set across multiple trades to facilitate smooth operations and uphold safety standards throughout the project lifecycle. Duties
- Install, assemble, and maintain site accommodation units, including cabins, offices, and welfare facilities using hand tools and power tools.
- Conduct routine inspections of welfare facilities to ensure cleanliness, safety, and compliance with health regulations.
- Support the installation of roofing, plumbing, electrical systems, plastering, masonry, carpentry, and fabrication tasks as needed across the site.
- Assist in fabricating and modifying structures or fixtures based on schematics and technical drawings.
- Perform welding tasks for structural repairs or modifications with precision and adherence to safety protocols.
- Support construction painting, masonry work, and other finishing activities to ensure quality standards are met.
- Use schematics and technical documentation to guide installation processes accurately while maintaining a safe working environment.
Experience
- Proven experience in construction environments with a strong background in installing and maintaining site welfare facilities.
- Hands-on experience with roofing, plumbing, welding, electrical systems, plastering, masonry, carpentry, fabrication, and construction painting.
- Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, scaffolding equipment, and other construction machinery safely and effectively.
- Familiarity with reading schematics, technical drawings, or blueprints for installation projects.
- Knowledge of safety standards related to construction sites and welfare facility management.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments while maintaining attention to detail.
- Prior experience supporting large-scale construction projects is highly desirable.
