Manage financial administration / bookkeeping activity and fundraising. This involves
· Identifying sources of grant funding and managing applications
· Bookkeeping, entering information into our financial management system. (Training will be provided)
· Issuing invoices
· Paying bills
· Reconciling basic accounts
Manage administration of repair, maintenance and improvement of building. This involves
· Working with Property Committee to understand the programme of repair and maintenance
· Liaising with trades who complete works
· Sourcing products, and complete all necessary invoicing / payments.
Administration for the ongoing management of letting our building to the community and liaising with community users. This involves:
· Promoting the hall and church spaces to potential new users
· Working with existing users to ensure they continue to use the building safely.
· Liaising with potential users to give them a good first impression, showing them the facilities and discussing their needs.
· Managing required paperwork for agreed contracts, invoicing etc.
Supporting wider administration required by the Rector & leadership team. This involves
· Producing weekly service sheets
· Maintaining database of church members
Essential Skills
· Strong efficient administration skills, using systems such as Word and Excel
· Grant applications preferably within a Charity setting.
· Financial bookkeeping experience
· A welcoming friendly manner
· Good time management and attention to detail

Terms and Conditions
· The post is part-time – 20 hours per week (over 5 days)
· The post holder is required to work onsite in the Church office
· The salary is £15 per hour
Pay: £15.00 per hour
