Construction Manager – Cat A, Cat B Fit-Out & Structural Works
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Construction Manager to manage two projects running concurrently on the same site.
The projects will involve a combination of commercial Cat A and Cat B fit-out, refurbishment and structural works. The successful candidate must be confident managing multiple subcontractors, coordinating complex work packages and maintaining progress across both projects.
This is a hands-on site management role requiring strong planning, leadership and problem-solving skills.
Key Responsibilities
Manage two live projects running simultaneously on the same site
Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of subcontractors and site teams
Plan, coordinate and sequence Cat A, Cat B fit-out and structural works
Prepare and manage short-term programmes and look-ahead plans
Monitor progress against the construction programme and drive subcontractor performance
Coordinate deliveries, logistics, access, lifting operations and site activities
Review drawings, specifications and construction information
Coordinate with designers, structural engineers, consultants and subcontractors
Identify design issues, clashes, delays and risks at an early stage
Ensure all works are completed safely, correctly and to the required quality standards
Review and manage RAMS, permits, inspections and site documentation
Maintain accurate site records and provide regular progress updates
Attend and contribute to project, design and subcontractor meetings
Manage quality inspections, snagging, commissioning, completion and handover
Ensure both projects remain properly organised, resourced and on programme
Essential Requirements
Proven experience as a Construction Manager or Senior Site Manager
Strong experience delivering commercial Cat A and Cat B fit-out projects
Good practical understanding of structural alterations and structural work packages
Experience managing multiple subcontractors and construction packages
Ability to manage two live projects concurrently
Strong programme management, sequencing and short-term planning skills
Ability to read and coordinate architectural, structural and M&E drawings
Strong leadership, organisational and communication skills
Commercial awareness and the ability to identify risks and potential delays
Good knowledge of health and safety requirements and site management procedures
Valid SMSTS
Valid CSCS card
Valid First Aid at Work certificate

Pay: £50,000.00-£85,000.00 per year
