Salary: Up to £64,000 per annum
Full or part time – with the option to work full-time hours over 4 days

We are looking for an enthusiastic, compassionate and motivated Advanced Nurse Practitioner to join our established and supportive clinical team in Wisbech.
We care for approximately 15,000 patients and have a strong multidisciplinary team including 3 GPs, 7 ANPs, 1 ECP, 6 Practice Nurses, HCAs, a Nursing Associate, GP Assistant and supportive administrative colleagues. We are also supported by a range of PCN ARRS professionals.

The role
You will work as an autonomous clinician providing assessment, diagnosis and management of patients presenting with acute, chronic and complex health needs. Responsibilities include:
- Advanced clinical assessment, diagnosis and treatment
- Managing acute and same-day presentations
- Routine reviews and long-term condition management
- Independent prescribing
- Requesting and interpreting investigations
- Appropriate referral and safety-netting
- Health promotion and patient education
- Collaborative MDT working
- Clinical governance, audit and quality improvement
About you
You will be a registered nurse, qualified ANP and independent prescriber, with strong clinical assessment and decision-making skills.
We are looking for someone who is compassionate, approachable, organised and committed to delivering safe, evidence-based and patient-centred care.
Primary Care experience is desirable but not essential. For clinicians new to General Practice, we can offer a Transition Programme to support your development and confidence in Primary Care.
Experience with SystmOne, safeguarding, QOF and enhanced services would be advantageous.
