Midlands Protection (MPS Security) is recruiting professional, reliable and customer-focused SIA Door Supervisors to join our venues and hospitality division.

As an SIA Door Supervisor, you will play a key role in venue security, customer safety, access control and incident management. We are looking for individuals who remain calm under pressure, communicate effectively, and demonstrate professionalism, integrity and excellent judgement at all times.

Duties and Responsibilities
- Controlling access to the venue and checking identification where required
- Carrying out security searches in accordance with venue policies
- Managing queues and customer entry procedures
- Conducting internal and external venue patrols
- Monitoring crowd behaviour and identifying potential risks
- Responding professionally to incidents, emergencies and customer concerns
- Enforcing venue rules and licensing conditions
- Managing conflict and conducting safe, lawful ejections when necessary
- Assisting with emergency evacuation procedures
- Maintaining accurate incident records and reports
- Working closely with venue management, emergency services and colleagues
- Delivering exceptional customer service whilst maintaining a strong security presence
Essential Requirements
- Valid SIA Door Supervisor Licence
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work in busy and fast-paced environments
- Professional appearance and attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Reliable, punctual and trustworthy
Desirable Requirements
- Previous experience working in licensed venues, bars, nightclubs or live music venues
- Experience in crowd management and event security
- First Aid qualification
- Physical Intervention training
