Striving for Independence Care Solutions is looking for caring, reliable, and enthusiastic Support Workers to join our growing team.
We welcome both experienced care staff and people who are new to care but have the right attitude, willingness to learn, and passion for supporting others.

What You'll Be Doing
This is a practical, energetic, and community-based role suited to applicants who enjoy being active and engaging with people throughout the day.
Providing Person-Centred Support
- Supporting adults with daily living tasks, routines, and personal development
- Assisting with personal care, medication, shopping, meal preparation, and household tasks where required
- Supporting health appointments and wellbeing needs
Supporting Community Access & Activities
- Accompanying the adults we support to swimming, gym sessions, walks, clubs, educational courses, social events, holidays, and community outings
- Encouraging participation, confidence, communication, and independence
- Helping individuals develop life skills and social opportunities
Promoting Independence at Home
- Supporting people to maintain their homes and tenancies
- Encouraging budgeting, cooking, cleaning, and decision-making skills
- Helping individuals take ownership of their daily routines
Record Keeping & Teamwork
- Completing accurate daily records and reporting changes or concerns
- Working alongside colleagues and management to deliver high-quality care
- Upholding dignity, confidentiality, safeguarding, and best practice at all times

Essential Requirements
- Good spoken and written English communication skills
- Willingness to work full-time shift patterns
- Physically active and willing to participate in community-based activities
- Ability to support adults in both home and community settings
- Commitment to safeguarding and person-centred care
- Authorised to work in the United Kingdom without requiring sponsorship
Desirable (But Not Essential)
- Previous support work or care experience
- Experience working with adults with learning disabilities and/or autism
- Confidence supporting swimming, gym, and active community participation
- Full UK driving licence
