About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated, organised and results-driven Hotel Sales & Marketing Executive to join our growing hospitality team.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced hospitality professional who understands hotel sales, online booking platforms, revenue management and digital marketing. The successful candidate will play a key role in increasing occupancy, maximising revenue and promoting the hotel to both corporate and leisure markets.
The ideal candidate will be self-motivated, commercially aware, able to work independently, and capable of making informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement effective hotel sales and marketing strategies to maximise occupancy and revenue.
- Manage room inventory and pricing across all online travel agents (OTAs) and booking channels.
- Monitor daily room availability and optimise rates using revenue management principles.
- Manage and update hotel listings on booking platforms including:
- Booking.com
- Expedia Group
- Hotels.com
- Agoda
- Airbnb (where applicable)
- TripAdvisor
- Google Hotel Ads
- Hotel website booking engine
- Increase direct bookings through the hotel's website and marketing campaigns.
- Negotiate and maintain relationships with travel agents, corporate clients, tour operators and local businesses.
- Generate new corporate accounts and group bookings.
- Prepare weekly and monthly sales and occupancy reports.
- Monitor competitors' pricing, occupancy and promotional activities.
- Work closely with Reception, Reservations and Management to maximise room sales.
- Manage social media platforms and digital marketing campaigns.
- Coordinate email marketing campaigns and promotional offers.
- Assist in organising conferences, weddings, events and group bookings.
- Respond promptly to booking enquiries and sales opportunities.
- Maintain high standards of customer service and guest satisfaction.
- Identify opportunities to improve revenue across rooms, food & beverage and events.
Essential Requirements
- Minimum 2 years' experience in hotel sales, hotel marketing or hotel reservations.
- Good knowledge of OTA platforms and channel management systems.
- Experience using hotel Property Management Systems (PMS).
- Understanding of hotel revenue management and pricing strategies.
- Strong knowledge of online marketing and digital advertising.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Strong organisational and administrative abilities.
- Commercial awareness with the ability to increase sales and profitability.
- Confident using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Excellent written and spoken English.
