We are looking for a friendly, dependable and motivated Bar Manager to oversee the day-to-day operation of our venue in Northwich, Cheshire.
This is a live-in position offering £300 per week, with accommodation provided. The role would suit someone with strong people skills, a responsible attitude and an interest in developing a career in hospitality management.
Main Responsibilities
- Overseeing the daily operation of the bar
- Providing welcoming and professional customer service
- Supervising, supporting and motivating bar staff
- Preparing staff rotas and coordinating shift cover
- Opening and closing the premises
- Managing cash, card payments and end-of-shift reconciliations
- Monitoring stock levels and placing or receiving orders
- Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation
- Ensuring licensing, health and safety, and responsible-service procedures are followed
- Handling customer enquiries and resolving issues professionally
- Supporting promotions, events and other activities designed to increase trade
- Reporting maintenance, staffing or operational concerns to the owner or senior management

Previous experience in a bar, pub, restaurant or hospitality-management role would be advantageous. However, applicants with strong transferable skills and the right attitude will also be considered.
A Personal Licence is desirable but not essential, as appropriate training and support can be provided to the successful applicant.
