Healthii People are currently recruiting FEMALE ONLY experienced and compassionate Complex Care Support Workers to provide high-quality, person-centred support to adults with complex care needs across Essex
We have regular shifts available 5 days per week, ranging from 6* to 12 hours*, making this an excellent opportunity for experienced Complex Care Support Workers looking for consistent work with a degree of flexibility.
About the Role
As a Complex Care Support Worker, you will provide dedicated one-to-one support within the client’s home and local community.
This is a hands-on role requiring someone who is confident, compassionate, and experienced in supporting adults with complex healthcare needs. You will work closely with the client, their family and other healthcare professionals to deliver safe, consistent, and person-centred care.
Your focus will be on maintaining the highest standards of care while promoting the client’s independence, dignity, choice and quality of life.
Shift Availability

Duties & Responsibilities
Your responsibilities may include:
- Providing high-quality, person-centred complex care
- Supporting with personal care and daily living activities
- Assisting with medication administration
- Supporting with bowel care requirements
- Assisting with oral feeding
- Supporting individuals with complex health needs
- Providing appropriate support around behaviours that may challenge
- Encouraging community activities and social engagement
- Promoting independence, confidence and personal development
- Maintaining accurate care records
- Identifying and reporting changes or concerns appropriately
- Following individual care plans and risk assessments
- Working collaboratively with family members and healthcare professionals
- Maintaining appropriate professional boundaries within the family home
Complex Care Experience Essential
We are specifically looking for candidates with proven Complex Care experience.
You must have:
- A minimum of 6 months experience working within Complex Care
- Experience supporting adults with complex healthcare requirements
- Experience supporting individuals with behaviours that may challenge
- Confidence providing one-to-one care within a client’s home
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- The ability to follow detailed care plans and professional guidance
- A professional, reliable, and compassionate approach
- The ability to work independently and as part of a wider care team
- Flexibility to respond to the client’s changing needs
Driving Requirement
A full UK driving licence and access to your own vehicle is essential for this position.
