Duties
- Greet and welcome guests with a warm and friendly attitude
- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently
- Serve food and beverages while ensuring presentation meets our standards
- Assist in food preparation as required, adhering to food safety regulations
- Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the front of house area
- Handle cash transactions and perform basic math calculations for payments
- Upsell menu items to enhance the guest experience
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service and quality control
- Manage time effectively to ensure all tasks are completed efficiently
Qualifications
- Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is an advantage
- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
- Basic culinary skills or kitchen experience is also an advantage
- Strong guest service skills with a focus on hospitality
- Ability to work well under pressure in a busy environment
- Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively
- A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow within the team
- Strong communication skills to interact with guests and team members
