We are seeking an experienced and driven Head Chef to lead our kitchen team at Shoreditch. This is an exciting opportunity for a career-minded individual who is passionate about food, leadership, and professional growth within a dynamic and growing company.
The ideal candidate will be hardworking and motivated.
Previous experience in a Head Chef role is preferred, along with a strong work ethic, commitment, and the ability to lead by example.
Key Responsibilities & Requirements:
- A confident and inspiring leader who leads from the front
- Strong culinary skills with proven experience in a senior chef role
- Excellent knowledge of kitchen hygiene standards and food safety compliance
- Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail
- Experience managing stock control, ordering, deliveries, and stock rotation
- Competent in using stock management systems (Tevalis experience preferred)
- Food safety trained with relevant culinary qualifications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the confidence to manage people and challenging situations
- Calm, composed, and solutions-focused under pressure
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and above all, friendly and approachable
