Duties
- Assist with food preparation and meal assembly according to dietary guidelines and recipes
- Support the cooking process, ensuring food safety standards are consistently maintained
- Serve meals to residents with courtesy, patience, and a friendly attitude
- Help with kitchen cleanliness, including washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, and waste disposal
- Stock kitchen supplies and ingredients to ensure smooth meal service operations
- Follow health and safety procedures diligently to uphold hygiene standards in food handling
- Collaborate with the catering team to deliver timely and appealing meals that meet residents’ nutritional needs
Experience
- Previous experience in catering or restaurant environments is highly desirable
- Familiarity with food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety protocols
- Practical knowledge of meal service and food safety regulations
- Experience working with diverse dietary requirements or in a care setting is a plus
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety
