Overview
We are seeking a motivated Factory Cleaner to join our team and help us uphold the cleanliness and safety of our production environment. This role is vital in maintaining a hygienic workspace, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations, and supporting the smooth operation of our egg production facility. The ideal candidate will bring experience in commercial cleaning, have a proactive attitude with attention to detail.
Duties
- Perform routine cleaning of factory and warehouse floors, equipment, and work areas to ensure a hygienic environment
- Clean and sanatise production surfaces, machinery, and tools as per company standards
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break rooms, and common areas within the facility
- Dispose of waste materials safely and efficiently according to environmental guidelines
- Use cleaning equipment such as floor scrubbers, power washers, vacuums, mops, and brushes effectively
- Follow health and safety procedures during all cleaning activities to prevent accidents or contamination
- Assist with inventory management of cleaning supplies and notify supervisors when stock needs replenishing
Experience
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning roles within an industrial or manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment operation, and safety protocols
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while adhering to strict hygiene standards
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining a clean working environment
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently during scheduled shifts
Shift Pattern
- Monday to Friday
- Guaranteed 20 hours per week
- Start time 14:00, finish time will vary dependent on the daily work load. Successful candidates will need some flexability.
