Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Bench Joiner to join our team. As a Bench Joiner, you will be responsible for producing high-quality bespoke furniture. Your expertise will contribute to creating custom cabinetry, bespoke furniture, and other woodwork projects that meet precise specifications. Duties
- Fabricate sheet material by accurately measuring, cutting, and shaping materials using hand tools and power tools.
- Assemble joinery pieces with precision, ensuring close attention to detail and flawless finishes.
- Operate various woodworking machinery such as panel saws, edgebander, drills, sanders, and routers safely and efficiently.
- Interpret technical drawings, and specifications to produce accurate workpieces.
- Conduct quality checks throughout the fabrication process to maintain high standards of craftsmanship.
Skills
- Proven experience in fabrication, assembly, and carpentry with a focus on joinery techniques.
- Proficiency in using hand tools such as chisels, saws, hammers, and screwdrivers.
- Skilled in operating power tools including drills, sanders, routers, and saws safely.
- Ability to lift heavy materials safely during fabrication and installation processes.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication skills to interpret technical drawings and collaborate effectively with team members.
Pay: £16.00-£17.00 per hour
