I’m looking for someone to run my stall at markets for Ametrine Skin, a small-batch skincare and aromatherapy brand focused on simple, intentional self-care rituals.
This is an independent role, where you’ll be responsible for managing the stall throughout the day, from setup to sales to pack down.
You’ll be the face of the brand at the market, helping customers discover products, guiding them towards what suits them, and creating a calm, welcoming experience. You will primarily be working in and around Birmingham.
Responsibilities
- Collecting products and stall equipment before each market and returning them afterwards
- Transporting stock to and from event locations
- Setting up and packing down the stall independently
- Welcoming customers and confidently starting conversations
- Recommending products based on customer needs
- Suggesting additional products where appropriate
- Handling payments (card and cash)
- Keeping the stall clean, organised, and visually on-brand
Requirements
- Full UK driving licence and access to a car (ideal as you’ll need to collect everything and drop
- Retail or customer-facing experience
- Confident speaking to people and starting conversations
- Comfortable working independently and taking responsibility
- Reliable, punctual, and organised
- Able to transport stock and stall equipment
- Interest in skincare, beauty, or wellbeing
Pay & Hours
- £13 per hour
- Commission on sales above a set target
- Typically 7–7.5 hour shifts
- Primarily weekend work (with occasional weekday opportunities)
- Typically 1–4 market days per month, depending on the events schedule
- We ask for a minimum commitment of at least 1 day per month
- Dates are usually shared in advance, and you’ll be able to confirm your availability
Training
- You’ll complete 1–2 paid training days, shadowing me at a market
- During this time, you’ll learn how to set up, sell, and confidently guide customers through the products
- The goal is for you to feel fully confident running the stall independently
