We are currently recruiting for Housekeeping Team Members, to join our Team at the Holiday Inn Express Wigan, due to the hotel expanding our services and getting more busier.
The role will be to assist other Housekeeping Team Members and to also demonstrate and help maintain high levels of cleanliness in order to exceed the expectations of our guests.
Description
You will work as a part of a team to cover the rooms in the hotel. You will be expected to meet deadlines to complete the job/room allocation and will need to be meticulous and thorough.
The jobs allocated will include cleaning the rooms, bathrooms and public areas including hoovering, polishing and replenishing.
Hours available between 15 and 30 per week and will include weekdays and weekends.
Shifts would suit someone looking for school hours.
Duties Include:
- Cleaning rooms
- Following health and safety guidelines
- Reporting lost or found items
- Using chemicals and cleaning agents
- Following and completing room checklists/sheets
- Being organised and detail oriented
- Being attentive and practical
- Working well with team members and guests
- Being diligent and hardworking Being able to think quickly
Desired Skills:
- Adaptability - coping with the diverse customer base and their needs
- Thoroughness
- Good communication skills
- Flexibility - early morning or weekend working may be required
- Essential - previously worked in a housekeeping / cleaning role
- Desired - experience working in a hotel
The ideal candidate is likely to have experience in a customer facing environment, be able to demonstrate initiative and be someone who has a reputation for delivering great service.
Pay: £12.71 per hour
