We are looking for a Client Accountant/Client Administrator who is friendly, personable and reliable to join and support our accounts department. We are looking for someone with good knowledge of excel and other Microsoft office programs. Knowledge of Reapit software will be an advantage however full training will be given. Experience within the lettings sector a distinct advantage.
The requirement is for a proactive and organised individual who will be able to carry out tasks through to a successful conclusion. The successful candidate will be highly organised, efficient, able to work quickly and accurately under pressure whilst maintaining excellent client care at all times.
Hours of work
Working hours will be 9am – 5.30 Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch.
Duties include:
- Daily accounts procedure of collecting and processing rents & payments to landlords and contractors
- Daily Bank reconciliations
- Monitoring Rent Arrears and chasing to strict deadlines and to provide detailed weekly reports for branch office, keeping landlords up to date and advising on possession procedure where necessary on Section 8 and Section 21.
- Monitoring Rent Arrears with Rent Warranty and reporting to warranty department within strict deadlines
- Receiving and processing purchase ledger invoices for company accounts and liaising with our head office and dealing with supplier queries.
- General office administration including taking telephone enquiries and monitoring and dealing with several outlook inboxes
- Dealing with Landlord Statement Queries & Landlord Council Tax Accounts
- Liaising and advising our Management Department with regard to contractor queries
- Providing Annual Statements to Landlords
- Providing Tenant References at end of tenancy
- Maintaining notes on software system
- Processing daily figures and end of month figures to a tight deadline and updating various excel sheets
- General day to day office duty
- Process move in statements
- Process deposit return payments
- Registering & De-registering deposits on the government website
- Quarterly deposit reconciliations

- Have good computer skills especially Microsoft Excel
- Preferable Reapit experience but full training will be given
- Previous Lettings experience would be desirable
