- Execute carpentry tasks including framing, joinery, roofing, and general construction work to meet project specifications.
- Conduct maintenance activities such as plumbing repairs, masonry work, electrical installations, and construction painting to uphold building standards.
- Assist with heavy lifting and material handling to ensure safe and effective project progression.
- Collaborate with team members to plan and execute construction or repair projects from start to finish.
- Inspect work sites regularly for safety compliance, quality assurance, and adherence to building codes.
- Maintain all tools, equipment, and materials in excellent condition for optimal performance.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in carpentry, joinery, fabrication, or related construction trades.
- Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, roofing techniques, plumbing systems, masonry work, and electrical basics.
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and effectively in various working environments.
- Strong knowledge of safety protocols and building codes relevant to construction and maintenance work.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a detail-oriented approach to craftsmanship.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced setting.
- Relevant certifications or licenses in carpentry or construction trades are preferred but not mandatory.
