Exciting opportunity to join a friendly team to learn all aspects of garden maintenance, lawns, hedges, and borders (planting), use of garden machinery, soft and hard landscaping, fencing, decking, and paving.

This is a 2 year fixed term apprentice contract. On successful completion of the 2 year contract, apprentices will have the opportunity to apply for a permanent Landscaper position with the team.
No two days are ever the same, and your tasks will vary depending on requirements of our clients.
Previous experience is not necessary; however, a willingness to learn new skills, possess a strong work ethic and have a positive can-do attitude, are all essential.
Candidates require an understanding of the strenuous and physical requirements of the job, and the fact that we work outdoors in Scotland regardless of the weather.
Candidates will undertake their SVQ Level 2 Horticulture on a day release basis starting in September.
We would like candidates aged over 17 to ideally possess or be working towards their UK driving licence, or be willing to start this once old enough.

The role will pay the apprenticeship wage for the 1st year. Upon completion of year 1 and passing your exams, you will receive a wage increase to at least minimum wage. Pay increases are then performance based.
The role is based at our unit in Humbie, East Lothian. However, employees can often be collected from Musselburgh, Wallyford, Tranent or Haddington areas each day.

Start date 6 July where possible
