Metal Precision UK Ltd is a small family run company based in Wiltshire that has been trading for over 40 years. We provide expert sheet metal work across a wide range of sectors, including: Rail, Medical, Education, Catering, Automotive, Electronics, Bespoke Projects, and the Private Sector
Our goal is to deliver high-quality precision products which meet the needs of our long established customer base as well as the design and production of new bespoke products. Our products are made to fine tolerances and require someone with a keen eye for detail, who will ensure that their work is completed to the highest standard by working as part of a team to deliver high quality products on time.
We are looking to add to our team and looking for someone who is able and keen to learn the processes of producing sheet metal products to exacting standards. Who will adhere to the required checks and recording of processes completed throughout the production. They will also deliver our products providing the same care and attention to our customers and suppliers.
The main duties would be among other things,
- Deburring and graining sheet metal parts
- Fitting inserts
- Drilling
- Tapping
- Completing processes paperwork after each job, and checking others work.
- Maintaining a clean and tidy workshop
- Packing parts for delivery
- Delivering to customers and suppliers and ensuring all paperwork is completed
- Maintaining a clean van and completing regular maintenance checks.
We run a 4 day working week, to help our staff have a better work-life balance. Standard hours are 7:00 to 17:30 Monday to Wednesday and 7:00 to 17:00 Thursday.
