Cabinet Maker / Joiner
Griffiths & Hood Ltd is a family-run furniture manufacturer established in 1964, specialising in high-quality bespoke and contract office furniture in veneer, laminate, MFC, painted MDF, plywood and other materials.
We are looking for an experienced and proactive Cabinet Maker / Bench Joiner to join our factory team.
Key Responsibilities
- Assemble, finish and fit high-quality bespoke office furniture and furniture components from drawings and cutting sheets
- Bench joinery and assembly of solid wood components
- Fit hardware, fixings and fittings
- Use hand tools, power tools and woodworking machinery
- Work accurately to a high standard and support other factory operations when required
- Work closely with colleagues to ensure high quality finishes
The Ideal Candidate Will Have
- At least 3 years’ relevant experience
- Strong furniture construction and bench joinery skills
- Experience with veneer, laminate, MFC, MDF, plywood and timber
- Good attention to detail and pride in quality workmanship
- A proactive attitude and ability to work well in a team
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
Pay: Up to £15.00 per hour
