Summary
We are seeking a dedicated Temporary Morning Cleaner to join our team at The Star at South Harrow in London. This role is vital in maintaining the cleanliness and hygiene of our lively venue, ensuring a pleasant experience for all visitors and staff. Shifts are 9am-11am Monday to Thursday with potential of cover work on other days.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and ensure supplies are stocked.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe environment.
- Assist with waste disposal and recycling procedures.
- Ensure all areas of the venue are kept tidy and presentable.
- Report any maintenance issues or hazards to management.
- Support team members in maintaining high standards of cleanliness throughout the venue.
- Qualifications
- Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial work.
- Ability to work efficiently during morning shifts.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Good communication skills and ability to work as part of a team.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations related to cleaning.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Previous experience in hospitality or community venues is a plus.
