Street Food Team Member (Flexible Zero-Hours Contract)
We are looking for a reliable and friendly individual to join our street food team on a flexible, zero-hours basis.
This role is ideal for someone who can commit to working most Saturdays, 9am–5pm, while remaining available to pick up additional shifts as needed. Extra hours will typically be offered to cover staff holidays, sickness, busy periods, or when the business requires extra support at other times.
Shift patterns can fall anywhere between Monday and Sunday during daytime hours (generally 9am–5pm). Hours will vary from week to week, and there is no guaranteed minimum. We are not obliged to provide regular work, and shifts may be offered at short notice. Applicants should be comfortable with variable income.
Main Duties
- Taking customer orders and processing payments.
- Providing friendly, welcoming customer service.
- Preparing and cooking food in a fast-paced environment.
- Serving high-quality food with consistency and care.
- Following all food hygiene and food safety procedures.
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment.
- Receiving and putting away deliveries.
- Supporting the team with day-to-day running of the stall.

- Knowledgeable about food safety (experience is beneficial but training can be provided).

- Physically able to lift and put away deliveries.
- Punctual and reliable.
Previous hospitality or catering experience is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided to the right candidate.
Working Hours
- Most Saturdays, 9:00am–5:00pm.
- Additional daytime shifts may be available Monday to Sunday (typically between 9:00am and 5:00pm) depending on business needs.
This is a zero-hours contract.
In addition to the Saturday shift, extra hours may be offered to cover:
- Staff holidays
- Staff sickness
- Busy trading periods
- Special events
