Full-time & part-time opportunities available
Salary:
- PIP: £40,000–£42,000 – approximately 3 detailed assessments per day
- WCA: £42,000–£43,000 – approximately 5–6 shorter assessments per day
Bonus Opportunities:
- Up to 10% performance bonus
- 5% training completion incentive
- £2,000 face-to-face bonus, usually available within 6 months
What You'll Do As a Functional Assessor, you'll use your clinical knowledge, assessment skills and professional judgement to understand how health conditions and disabilities affect an individual's daily life and ability to work.
You'll be responsible for:
- Conducting structured assessments by telephone and face-to-face
- Reviewing medical evidence and supporting information
- Exploring how health conditions affect daily living, mobility and functional ability
- Producing clear, accurate and evidence-based reports for the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP)
- Making fair and impartial recommendations based on the evidence available
- No treatment or hands-on care involved

Who We're Looking For:
- Registered Adult Nurses - Band 5+
- Mental Health Nurses - Band 5+
- Learning Disability Nurses – Band 5+
- Occupational Therapists
- Physiotherapists
- Paramedics
- Pharmacists
You will need:
- Active NMC or HCPC registration
- At least 1 year of post-registration experience
- Strong communication and assessment skills
- Good IT and typing abilities
- The right to work in the UK
