Healthcare Rota Coordinator.
Salary £34,000 plus bonus, pension and travel.
Hours Full time 40 hours per week
Community Clinical Care Ltd is a Nurse led specialist provider for children and young people with Complex Health Needs and Disabilities.
We are recruiting a Rota Coordinator to support the safe, effective and compliant delivery of our paediatric home care services to families.
The Rota Coordinator will be responsible for planning staff rotas, managing shift cover, supporting continuity for families and ensuring care packages are staffed in line with assessed needs, contractual requirements and CQC expectations.
This is a key operational role. The successful candidate must be organised, confident under pressure, strong with systems and able to make sound decisions quickly.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare, update and monitor staff rotas across our paediatric home care services to families
- Ensure all care calls and support shifts are allocated safely and in advance
- Respond promptly to sickness, absence, cancellations, emergency cover and rota changes
- Maintain safe staffing levels in line with care plans, commissioned hours and risk assessments
- Monitor continuity of care by allocating regular staff where possible
- Communicate rota changes clearly to care workers , families and management where required
- Have digital IT skills to use bespoke care management platform
- Check care workers availability , working hours, rest periods , leave and rota patterns
- Escalate staffing risks, uncovered shifts, late calls, missed calls and concerns
- Work closely with the management team to support recruitment , onboarding and workforce planning
- Maintain accurate records for audit , invoicing , payroll , safeguarding and quality assurance purposes
- Support compliance with company policies, CQC expectations , data protection and confidentiality requirements
