Position Overview: We are looking for a reliable, hardworking and detail-oriented cleaner to help maintain a high standard of cleanliness and presentation throughout our restaurant and venue. The successful candidate will play a important role in ensuring the venue is clean, welcoming and ready for guests, weddings, private functions and restaurant service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise restaurant dining areas, function rooms and common areas.
- Clean kitchens, toliets, changing areas and staff facillities.
- Sweep, mop, vacuum and maintain floors throughout the venue.
- Dust, wipe and polish furniture, fixtures, windows and surfaces.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste safely and appropriately.
- Clean and prepare wedding and function spaces before and after events.
- Assist with cleaning up after weddings, parties and other events.
- Maintain high hygiene and cleanliness standards at all times.
- Report any maintenance issues, damage or hazards to the manager.
- Follow health and saftey procedures and use cleaning products and equiptment correctly.
- Work efficiently while causing minimal disruption to guests, customers and staff.
- Carry out other reasonable cleaning and housekeeping duties required.
What We Are Looking For:
- At least 16 years of age.
-Previous cleaning experience is preferred but not essential.
- Good attention to detail and pride in your work.
-Reliable, punctual and able to work independently.
- Physically fit and comfortable standing, bending and lifting is required.
-Able to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends.
- Good understanding of hygiene and health and safety practices.
- Friendly, professional and respectful attitude towards customers and colleagues.
Pay: £7.55-£12.21 per hour
