Brockworth House Nursing Home is located in a peaceful area of Gloucester, overlooking Coopers Hill and close to the scenic Witcombe Reservoirs. The home provides high-quality nursing and dementia care for up to 52 residents. The Role:
Registered Nurse
We are looking for a compassionate and professional Registered Nurse to join our nursing team. You will take responsibility for the clinical care of residents, ensuring high standards of practice and a supportive environment for both residents and staff.
We are looking for Registered Nurses to join us on DAYS (FT or PT), NIGHTS (FT) and BANK positions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain the highest standards of nursing care.
- Ensure residents’ needs are met and address any health concerns promptly.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualised care plans.
- Administer prescribed medication and maintain accurate documentation.
- Liaise with GPs and healthcare professionals to coordinate care.
- Support the Home Manager with audits and quality assurance processes.
- Provide leadership, supervision, and appraisals to care staff.
- Ensure clear and effective handovers between shifts.
- Report and record incidents, accidents, and safeguarding concerns appropriately.
About You:
What matters most is your genuine care, enthusiasm, and ability to bring positive energy to our residents' lives.
Our ideal candidate must:
- Have a UK NMC PIN with no restrictions
- Have 3 years experience working in similar care environment.
- Have the ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
- Have a positive attitude to both supporting and nurturing residents and staff.
- Be responsive and flexible to cover a range of responsibilities.
- Be able to support and lead a strong team.
- Be confident with a range of care needs both physical health and advanced dementia care.
