Responsibilities
- Greeting patients warmly and professionally upon arrival
- Managing appointment scheduling and rescheduling efficiently
- Handling patient check-in and check-out processes with accuracy
- Answering phone calls, responding to enquiries, and directing calls appropriately
- Maintaining accurate patient records and updating information as needed
- Processing payments and insurance claims in accordance with practice procedures
- Organising patient files, correspondence, and other administrative tasks
- Assisting with general office duties to ensure the practice runs smoothly
- Supporting the dental team with administrative tasks as required
Experience
- Proven office experience, preferably within a healthcare or dental setting
- Demonstrated administrative skills, including data entry and record management
- Excellent organisational abilities with attention to detail
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment whilst maintaining professionalism
- Familiarity with dental software or practice management systems is advantageous
