Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Room Attendant to join our hospitality team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring guest rooms are maintained to the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort. The Room Attendant will play a vital part in delivering an exceptional guest experience by maintaining a clean, welcoming environment.
Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitise guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies
- Ensure all public areas, corridors, and service areas are kept tidy and presentable
- Report any maintenance issues or damages observed during cleaning to management
- Follow health and safety protocols at all times to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff
- Adhere to hotel policies regarding guest privacy and confidentiality
- Restock amenities such as toiletries, towels, and linen as required
- Maintain cleaning equipment and supplies in good condition and organise storage areas efficiently
Experience
- Previous experience in hotel housekeeping or janitorial services is highly desirable
- Knowledge of hospitality standards and procedures is advantageous
- Strong attention to detail with organisational skills
- Ability to work independently and efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Excellent communication skills and a professional attitude
